Two Swedish Institutions Close Areim Fund II

Stockholm-based Areim AB is pleased to announce that Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and Kåpan Pensioner Försäkringsförening have committed combined capital of MSEK 550 to Areim Fund II, which will focus on value-added investments in Sweden.

Together with existing committed capital from GIC (the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation), APG (Algemene Pensioen Groep), AP4 (the Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund) and Allianz Real Estate the aggregate commitments in Areim Fund II total BSEK 2.8 and the fund is now closed.

Similar to its predecessor, Areim Fund II will pursue value-added investments in the form of office repositioning, retail investments and residential development projects in Sweden with a focus on Stockholm. The fund is an eight-year vehicle with a three-year investment horizon and a total investment volume of approximately BSEK 6-7. Areim Fund II is advised by Areim AB.
