Areim has acquired ten light industrial properties with a total lettable space of 38,000 sqm in Handen’s industrial area in southern Stockholm. Seller is the family-owned Pebodagruppen.

“This investment is strategic for Areim. With this acquisition we will be the major owner in Handen’s industrial area which gives us both possibilities and incentives to develop the individual assets as well as the entire industrial area.” says Julia Mejegård, Nordic Head of Light Industrial at Areim.

With this acquisition, Areim’s Swedish light industrial portfolio includes 39 properties of 148,000 sqm lettable space. The portfolio also includes a substantial development potential in terms of undeveloped building rights. All properties are located in Greater Stockholm and Uppsala.
