Areim welcomes Henrik Landelius as new CEO

25 September 2023

Henrik Landelius will take over as CEO of Areim in March 2024. Henrik comes most recently from NCC where he was part of the company’s senior management team and for the past five years has been Head of NCC Building Sweden. Areim has grown successfully for 20 years, and Henrik’s main task will be to continue developing the organisation, ensure healthy growth, and deliver on the long-term business strategy.

“Areim is an exciting company in constant development, with core values that really appeal to me, and with a unique focus on both people and business. It is an honour to be trusted to lead the business forward, I humbly and excitedly look forward to continuing the journey together with the strong team”, says Henrik Landelius.

“Henrik’s leadership experience and strong business focus will play a major role in Areim’s continued development. His personal qualities, attitude and energy fit very well into our company culture and the way we work, while he complements us well. We are happy to welcome him to the team and look forward to continuing to build Areim together”, says Leif Andersson, founder of Areim.

Therese Rattik continues within Areim
Henrik succeeds Therese Rattik, who has been employed at Areim since 2003 and CEO since 2013. Therese will continue to be active in her role as partner and will also be part of the board.

“Under Therese’s leadership, the team and the company have developed in many ways. We have succeeded in growing our business, developed a strong and united team and refined our unique company culture in a way that I am extremely proud of. I would like to extend a big thank you to her for the effort she has made, especially during her years as CEO. At the same time, I am grateful that we will now be able to meet her desire to release capacity and potential linked to other important areas within Areim. I look forward to a continued close collaboration with Therese”, says Leif Andersson.

Areim consists of approximately 100 employees in its offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, and London. In 2023, Areim has closed its fifth Nordic value-add real estate fund, Areim Fund V, with EUR 877 million in committed capital, and a Nordic data centre fund, Areim DC Fund, with EUR 446 million in committed capital.
